Beroun Golf Resort

The former military area of Na Veselé in Beroun would seem to be an unlikely place to site a golf course. From the hill above the river Berounka there are stunning views over the brdy Hills and the centre of Beroun city. Forest which surround the whole area and lakes slong the wide fairways make it difficult to believe that it is only 10 minutes drive from the capital.

This project of Canadien architect Les furber, is evidence of his incredible skill in placing an 18holes chapmpionship course in the countryside as it has always been here. Even with the use of every available modern technology for construction and further maintenance, it demonstrates a deep respect for nature and the surrounding countryside.
