On April 21, 2013, golf tournament for club members sponsored by MetLife took place. Thanks to excellent weather throughout the day almost 90 members and invited guests joined the game. At 9 a.m. the first flights teed off from No. 1 and No. 10.

On Saturday April 20, at 6 p.m. the annual club conference and gala dinner took place. The event was opened by the annual report presented by president Vojtěch Matějček and approved by the executive committee.

As of this year, the South Korean multinational automobile manufacturer Hyundai has become a partner of the Beroun Golf Resort through its company Hyundai Motor Czech s.r.o.

Following an invitation from Andrej Bobák, head of communications and new business projects of this company, the representatives of our golf club have taken part in the opening ceremony of the company´s exhibition at the Brno Motor Show.

Despite the persistently inclement weather this year,  golfing season in Beroun finally starts with the Easter holidays. The restaurant will have the usual opening hours again, and the golf course will be available under standard conditions. On April 8, 2013 aerification of the greens will take place

On Saturday, March 16, 2013, new managment of the Czech Golfing Federation was elected at the Step hotel in Prague. Zdeněk Kodejš was elected President of CGF and Vojtěch Matějček, the president of BER GC was elected Treasury Secretary. We offer our congratulations and best wishes to both gentlemen in their new positions.

On Saturday, March 2, 2013, an Open Door day for the Na Veselí Residence - Krásný Svět project took place in the area of the Beroun Golf Club. A visit to the club house, situated opposite the future apartment houses, was part of the programme.

We kindly request the the person that borrowed the 5 kilogram weights from the Fitness room to return them back for use by other club members.

Like every year, sanitation and maintenance of the clubhouse premises and equipment was carried out in time before the regular golf season starts.

In January and February the clubhouse foyer offers an exhibition of art photos taken by our chef Zdeněk Blecha during his travels across India in 2011. His focus is on the country and city life of ordinary Indians and all pictures are available for you to purchase

Favorable weather allowed the first green cutting of the year to take place on Jan. 4, 2013. "The greens are cut down to 6 milimeters and ready for quality putting", head greenkeper Martin Šindler said.

A New Year´s Party took place on December 31, 2012, to celebrate the arrival of the year 2013. About 70 people joined, starting the festivities as the sun went down and some kept the good times up till the the break of dawn. We wish all the BER GC members and supporters a successful year 2013, lots of good luck and especially good health.

The restaurant´s opening hours were altered for operational reason as of Jan. 3, 2013. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. till 8 p.m. On Mondays the restaurant remains closed.
